Information collected and why
CV requests
If you request a CV, the form collects your name, email address and reason for requesting it. This information is used only to review and respond to your request. The lawful basis is legitimate interests in managing professional enquiries and potential employment or consultancy opportunities.
Website analytics
If you actively accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information such as page visits, approximate location, device and browser information, and how visitors reach and use the site. This is used to understand and improve the website. The lawful basis is consent. Analytics remains off unless you accept it.
Necessary preferences
The site stores your theme and cookie-consent choices locally on your device so it can remember your preferences. These are necessary for the requested site functionality and do not track you across other websites.
Who receives the information
- Formspree processes CV form submissions and delivers them by email.
- Google Analytics processes website-usage data only after analytics consent is given.
- Hosting and email providers may process limited technical or message data where necessary to provide their services.
These providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, processing is subject to the provider’s contractual safeguards and privacy terms. See the Formspree privacy policy and Google privacy policy.
How long information is kept
CV request details are normally deleted within 12 months of the last contact, unless an ongoing professional discussion or legal obligation requires them to be kept longer. Analytics information is retained according to the settings in the Google Analytics property. You can clear locally stored preferences at any time through your browser.

Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your personal information, object to processing, and withdraw consent. To make a request, email Lawson. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
